MIC-KEY* Low Profile FEEDING TUBE KITS – Gastric, Gastric-Jejunal and Jejunal access

MIC-KEY* LOW-PROFILE BALLOON GASTROSTOMY FEEDING TUBES (MIC-KEY* G) WITH ENFit® EXTENSION SETS

Fit for All Stages – From Paediatric, Teens, Through To Adult

The need for enteral feeding can be medically, emotionally and psychologically complex and impact lifestyle choices. Traditional feeding tubes may be too obvious and difficult to conceal and also be at risk of getting caught or accidentally pulled out – all of which add stress to a possibly already complicated life. Good nutrition maintains health, promotes growth and supports healing. MIC-KEY* G Feeding Tubes are indicated for use in paediatric and adult patients who require long term feeding, are unable to tolerate oral feeding, who are at low risk for aspiration, require gastric decompression and/or medication delivery directly into the stomach. MIC-KEY* G Feeding Tubes provide greater discretion, freedom and mobility via a skin-level feeding tube to keep your patients nourished and
supported.

Product Features:

  • Medical Grade Silicone Construction
  • Low-Profile Design
  • Tapered Distal Tip
  • Silicone Internal Retention Balloon
  • Distal Tip Recessed at 5ml
  • Proximal Anti-Reflux Valve
  • SECUR-LOK* ENFit® Extension Set Connector Mechanism

MIC-KEY* LOW-PROFILE BALLOON GASTRIC-JEJUNAL FEEDING TUBES (MIC-KEY* GJ) WITH ENFit® EXTENSION SETS
ENDOSCOPIC/RADIOLOGIC PLACEMENT

The MIC-KEY* GJ Tube is designed for patients who require simultaneous gastric decompression/drainage and delivery of enteral nutrition into the distal duodenum or proximal jejunum. A low-profile version of the MIC* Gastric-Jejunal Feeding Tube, the MIC-KEY* GJ Tube is accessed using MIC-KEY* Extension Sets with ENFit® Connectors. The MIC-KEY* GJ Tube is unobtrusive and easy to conceal. There are a wide range of sizes and lengths available. The added benefit of the tungsten weighted jejunal portion helps to maintain tube position, resist kinking and increase radiopacity.

Features:

  • Clearly marked separate ENFit® Gastric and Jejunal ports for ease of identification and simultaneous jejunal feeding and gastric decompression
  • Multiple feeding exit ports to help improve flow and minimise clogging
  • In-line jejunal port to aid in over-the-wire placement
  • Tapered distal tip for non-traumatic tube insertion

MIC-KEY* LOW-PROFILE BALLOON JEJUNAL FEEDING TUBES (MIC-KEY* J) WITH ENFit® EXTENSION SETS

CLOG ZAPPER* ENTERAL FEEDING TUBE DECLOGGING SYSTEM

In clinical usage CLOG ZAPPER* was successful in restoring patency to feeding tubes clogged with enteral formulas over 75% of the time 1,2

CLOG ZAPPER* is food graded and combines an “enzyme cocktail,” acids, buffers, anti-agents, and metal inhibitors. The ingredients all work together to loosen, break down and dislodge clogs. The enzymatic formula reduces clogging more effectively than water flushing alone.

NASOGASTRIC/NASOINTESTINAL FEEDING TUBE RETENTION SYSTEM

CORGRIP* NG/NI FEEDING TUBE RETENTION SYSTEM

Inadvertent dislodgement of feeding tubes has been reported with a prevalence of up to 63% 3. Feeding tube securement techniques have been used in clinical practice for more than two decades and the use of feeding tube retention systems can:

  • Result in a decrease in unnecessary X-rays for replacement procedures
  • Prevent discomfort and potential trauma from repeated procedures

CORGRIP* Nasogastric/Nasointestinal Tube Retention System can:

  • Lower the risk of patients undergoing replacement procedures
  • Reduce facility costs as a result of improved patient outcomes related to continuous enteral therapy and fewer procedures

The CORGRIP* has been designed to prevent inadvertent removal or displacement of feeding tubes in adult patients, CORGRIP* Nasogastric/Nasointestinal Tube Retention System is indicated for use with enteral feeding tubes of 8 Fr and greater and NG decompression, suction and drainage tubes up to 18 Fr.

Use of the CORGRIP* system can increase a patient’s caloric intake and may help to avoid unnecessary escalation to percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy feeding or intravenous nutrition.

The CORGRIP* System components include:

  • Water-soluble Lubricant
  • White Retrieval Catheter
  • Yellow Retrieval Catheter
  • Opening Device
  • SSL* (Slot-Slide-Lock) Camp
